Polished Concrete
French designer Xiral Segard creates some interesting objects using polished concrete, have a look around the website to see some examples. These polished concrete pieces hopefully show you that amazing work can be created from a material that is usually considered ugly!

Ripples and Sparkles

Books and Lights
This is English artist Alexander Korzer-Robinson who cuts through illustrated encylopedias to create these amazing works of art, he has many more on his site so have a look.
Also here is a lamp from Slovakian designer Veronika Paluchova, there are lots of interiors and objects on her page that could provide inspiration so have a look!
